예천군은 창업·취업·주거·생활안정·청년활동 등 4개 분야 14개 사업에 총 66억 원을 투입해 청년의 자립과 성장을 체계적으로 지원할 계획이라고 밝혔다.

창업 분야에서는 ‘청년 창업 키움·돋움 사업’과 ‘예비창업가 육성사업’을 운영한다. 단계별 맞춤형 교육과 멘토링, 컨설팅, 창업활동비 지원을 통해 초기 창업 리스크를 줄이고 안정적인 사업 기반을 마련한다는 구상이다.

취업 분야에서는 ‘청년취업 올인원 지원사업’을 통해 구직활동비 지원과 취업 역량 강화 교육을 병행한다. 지역 카페 및 기업과 협력하는 ‘꿈이음 청춘카페 지원사업’을 통해 취업 준비 공간을 제공하고, 실질적인 취업 연계 기능을 강화할 방침이다.

주거·생활안정 분야에서는 ‘청년월세 지원사업’과 ‘전세보증금 반환보증 보증료 지원사업’을 추진한다. 또한 ‘청년근로자 사랑채움 사업’을 통해 미혼 청년근로자의 목돈 마련을 지원, 안정적인 지역 정착 기반을 뒷받침한다.

청년 활동 활성화를 위해서는 ‘청년센터 이음프로젝트’와 ‘청년자립 마을 활성화 지원사업’을 지속 추진해 커뮤니티 형성과 정책 접근성을 높인다.

특히 도청신도시 청년 인구 증가에 대응해 호명읍 도청신도시에 총 58억 원을 투입, 프로그램실·회의실·공유오피스·커뮤니티 공간 등을 갖춘 청년센터를 신축할 계획이다. 복합 문화·여가·학습 기능을 갖춘 공간으로 조성해 청년 활동을 체계적으로 지원하고 정주 여건 개선 효과를 높일 것으로 기대된다.

아울러 타지역 청년의 지역 정착과 일자리 창출을 지원하는 ‘청년창업 지역정착지원사업’을 이어가고, 서울특별시와 연계한 ‘넥스트 로컬사업’을 통해 외부 청년 인재 유입도 확대한다는 전략이다.

군 관계자는 “청년의 안정적 정착과 성장이 곧 지역의 지속가능한 경쟁력”이라며 “청년이 머물고 도전하며 성장할 수 있는 환경을 지속적으로 확충하겠다”고 밝혔다.

This multi-functional space, featuring cultural, leisure, and learning functions, is expected to systematically support youth activities and significantly improve settlement conditions.

Furthermore, the strategy is to continue the "Youth Entrepreneurship and Local Settlement Support Project," which supports the settlement and job creation of young people from other regions, and to expand the influx of external youth talent through the "Next Local Project" in partnership with the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
