【브레이크뉴스 예천】이성현 기자=예천군은 헌법상 경자유전(耕者有田) 원칙 확립과 효율적인 농지 관리를 위해 오는 5월 18일부터 12월 31일까지 관내 농지를 대상으로 ‘2026년 범정부 농지이용실태 전수조사’를 실시한다고 밝혔다.

이번 조사는 농지의 투기 목적 소유를 방지하고 실제 경작자가 농지를 소유하도록 하는 헌법적 가치를 실현하기 위해 추진된다.

중점 조사 대상은 1996년 1월 2일 이후 취득한 관내 농지로, 총 7만4,055필지(1만2,737.93ha)에 달한다.

주요 점검 사항은 ▲농작물 경작 및 다년생 식물 재배 여부 ▲농지의 불법 전용 및 타 용도 일시사용허가 이행 여부 ▲농지 소유 및 임대차 관계의 적정성 등이다.

군은 이번 전수조사를 통해 불법 임대차, 무단 휴경 등 농지법 위반 사례를 철저히 점검해 농업 경쟁력 강화와 농지 행정의 신뢰도 제고에 나설 방침이다.

또 조사 결과 위법 사항이 확인된 농지에 대해서는 청문 절차를 거쳐 농지 처분 의무 부과, 원상복구 명령 등 엄정한 행정 조치를 시행해 사후 관리에도 만전을 기할 계획이다.

한편 예천군은 정확하고 원활한 현장 조사를 위해 농지조사원도 모집한다. 모집 기간은 4월 16일부터 23일까지이며, 자세한 내용은 예천군청 홈페이지 채용공고에서 확인할 수 있다.

Furthermore, for farmland where violations are confirmed as a result of the survey, the county plans to ensure thorough follow-up management by implementing strict administrative measures—such as imposing obligations to dispose of the land and issuing restoration orders—following a hearing process.

Meanwhile, Yecheon County is recruiting farmland surveyors to ensure accurate and efficient field surveys. The recruitment period runs from April 16 to 23, and details can be found in the job postings on the Yecheon County Office website.

A total of 24 people will be recruited. After completing relevant training, selected surveyors will be assigned two to each of the 12 towns and townships. The county intends to prioritize the hiring of local residents familiar with the conditions of their respective areas to enhance the effectiveness of the surveys.

An official from Yecheon County stated, “As farmland is a valuable asset directly linked to food security, we hope that its original functions will be restored through this comprehensive survey,” adding, “We also hope for significant interest and participation from local residents in the recruitment of surveyors.”
