이번 행사는 민예총 예천군지부와 예천군농민회가 공동 주관했으며, 지역 주민 800여 명이 참여해 액운을 물리치고 공동체 화합을 다지는 시간을 가졌다.

행사는 다리밟기를 시작으로 풍물공연, 소원지 쓰기, 부럼깨기, 기원제, 달집태우기 순으로 진행됐다. 군은 원활한 행사 운영을 위해 유관기관과 협조 체계를 구축하고, 안전요원 100여 명을 배치해 화재 예방과 안전사고 방지, 교통 관리에 만전을 기했다.

군 관계자는 “군민의 안녕을 기원하는 뜻깊은 행사가 안전하게 마무리돼 의미가 크다”며 “지난해의 액운은 달집과 함께 태워 보내고, 새해에는 각 가정에 평화와 소망이 가득하길 바란다”고 말했다.
