공모에 선정될 경우 총 시공비의 약 20%만 자부담하면 돼 군민들의 초기 설치 비용 부담이 크게 줄어들 전망이다.

예천군은 지난 2021년 예천읍을 시작으로 해당 사업을 추진해 왔으며, 2024년부터는 관내 12개 읍면 전역으로 사업 범위를 확대해 추진 중이다.

2021년부터 2025년까지 누적 보급 실적은 태양광 1,541개소(5,116kW), 태양열 196개소(1,254㎡), 지열 113개소(1,979kW)로 집계됐다.

특히 태양광 설비를 통한 전기요금 절감과 태양열·지열을 활용한 안정적인 온수 공급 효과로 주민들 사이에서 경제적 효용성이 높다는 평가를 받고 있다.

예천군 관계자는 “지역 간 에너지 균형 발전과 에너지 복지 실현을 위해 공모사업 선정에 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
