군은 오는 4월 4일부터 5일까지 이틀간 오후 7시부터 8시까지 개심사지 오층석탑 일원에서 ‘개심사지 벚꽃 버스킹’을 개최한다고 31일 밝혔다.

이번 공연은 벚꽃이 만개한 개심사지의 봄 정취에 문화예술 콘텐츠를 접목한 야간 프로그램으로, 지역 주민과 관광객에게 색다른 문화 향유 기회를 제공하기 위해 마련됐다.

무대에는 2006년 창단한 퓨전 국악 밴드 ‘프로젝트 락’이 참여한다. 이들은 전통 국악과 밴드 사운드를 결합한 음악으로 주목받아온 팀으로, 대표곡 ‘난감하네’를 통해 제1회 21C 한국음악 프로젝트 대상을 수상하는 등 다양한 공연에서 작품성과 대중성을 인정받아 왔다.

공연은 양일간 서로 다른 콘셉트로 진행된다. 첫날인 4일에는 ‘화연(花宴), 봄을 열다’를 주제로 대금과 해금, 판소리와 피아노, 밴드 사운드가 어우러진 감성 국악 크로스오버 무대가 펼쳐진다. 봄의 정취를 담은 서정적인 공연으로 관람객에게 잔잔한 여운을 선사할 예정이다.

둘째 날인 5일에는 ‘풍류난장(風流亂場), 흥을 깨우다’를 주제로 에너지 넘치는 퓨전 국악 공연이 이어진다. 민요와 판소리, 국악 리듬에 밴드 사운드를 결합한 강렬한 퍼포먼스와 관객 참여형 무대를 통해 현장의 열기를 끌어올릴 계획이다.

이와 함께 행사장에는 청사초롱 조명이 설치돼 전통적이면서도 감성적인 야간 경관을 연출한다. 벚꽃과 문화유산, 전통 조명이 어우러진 공간을 통해 방문객 체류시간을 늘리고 관광객 유입 확대에도 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

예천군 관계자는 “이번 공연은 도민체육대회를 맞아 예천을 찾는 방문객들이 지역의 자연과 문화를 함께 즐길 수 있도록 기획됐다”며 “개심사지에서 아름다운 국악 공연과 함께 특별한 봄밤의 추억을 만들길 바란다”고 말했다.

The county announced on the 31st that it will hold the ‘Gaeimsa Temple Site Cherry Blossom Busking’ for two days, from April 4th to 5th, from 7 PM to 8 PM, in the area around the Five-story Stone Pagoda at Gaeimsa Temple Site.

This performance is a nighttime program that integrates cultural and artistic content with the spring atmosphere of Gaeimsa Temple Site, where cherry blossoms are in full bloom. It was organized to provide local residents and tourists with a unique opportunity to enjoy culture.

The stage will feature ‘Project Rock,’ a fusion Korean traditional music band founded in 2006. The band has garnered attention for its music that combines traditional Korean music with band sounds. They have been recognized for both their artistic merit and popularity in various performances, including winning the Grand Prize at the 1st 21st Century Korean Music Project with their representative song, ‘Nangamhane.’

The performances will take place over two days with different concepts. On the first day, the 4th, under the theme "Hwayeon (Flower Feast), Opening Spring," an emotional Korean traditional music crossover stage will unfold, blending the daegeum and haegeum with pansori, piano, and band sounds.
