【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=성희롱과 여성비하 발언으로 논란이 된 김인호 의원의 제명과 관련, 항고 포기를 결정한 달서구의회에 대해 비판이 이어지고 있다.

앞서 김인호 의원은 성희롱과 여성비하 발언으로 달서구의회에서 제명 되었으나 법원에 제명 처분 효력정지 가처분을 신청했고 법원은 이를 받아들였다.

이에 달서구의회는 지난 13일 확대의장단 회의를 통해 항고를 결정하였으나 바로 다음날인 14일 전체의원 긴급간담회를 통해 이를 뒤집으며 항고를 포기했다.

달서구의회가 항고를 포기하자 정의당 대구시당은 성명서를 통해 “달서구의회의 이번 결정은 구민을 우롱하고, 야합과 꼼수 정치로 제 식구 감싸기에만 혈안이 되어 제대로 된 책임정치를 하지 않는 의장단에 있다”고 비판했다.

그러면서 “윤권근 의장의 무책임한 오락가락 행보에 책임을 묻는다.”며 “2차 가해와 막말 발언에도 부의장직을 유지하고 있는 안대국 부의장이 제자리에 있는 한 달서구의회의 변화를 기대하기 어렵다”고 지적하며 윤 의장과 안 부의장의 사퇴를 촉구했다.

지역 시민단체에서도 역시 달서구의회에 대한 비판을 이어갔다. 달서구의회 대응 대책위는 성명서를 통해 “(전체 의원 긴급 간담회) 23명 중 과반이 겨우 넘는 13명만 참여해 확대의장단 결정을 뒤집었다. 14일 오전에 의원에게 문자를 돌려 전체 간담회를 긴급하게 알리더니 겨우 13명만 참석해서 내린 결정을 전체 달서구의회의 입장이라고 과연 할 수 있는가?”하고 반문했다. 

이어 “달서구의회 사태의 모든 책임은 일차적으로 윤권근 의장과 안대국 부의장 등 의장단에 있다”고 지적하며 “성인지 감수성은 없고 제 식구 감싸기만 하며 눈 가리고 아웅 하는 무능한 윤권근 의장과 무책임한 안대국 부의장의 동반 사퇴하라”고 강하게 촉구했다.
