【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자= 달성군은 지난 21일 호텔아젤리아에서 '2022년 달성군 장애인 한마음축제 및 희망 한걸음 걷기대회'를 개최했다고 22일 밝혔다.
이날 행사는 최재훈 달성군수를 비롯해 서도원 달성군의회 의장 등 군의원, 달성군 자매결연도시 담양군의 지체장애인 여운복 협회장, 단체장, 지역 내 장애인 및 자원봉사자 등 400여명이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다.
식전행사와 기념식, 유공자 표창, 축하공연 등 다채로운 행사로 진행돼 장애인의 재활의욕 고취, 적극적인 사회참여 유도 및 자립의지로 어려운 여건을 개척할 수 있는 발판을 마련했다.
장애인의 복지증진에 힘쓴 대구시지체장애인협회 달성군지회 곽쾌영 등 7명이 군수 표창, 달성군장애인복지관 하후남 등 3명이 국회의원 표창, 대구시지체장애인협회 달성군지회 윤차균 등 3명이 군의장 표창을 각각 수상했으며 중앙회장 표창 2명, 대구시협회장 표창 2명, 지회장 감사패 5명 등 총 22명이 수상의 영예를 안았다.
최재훈 달성군수는“오늘 축제가 서로 화합하고 소중한 마음을 나누는 기회가 되기를 바라며, 장애인과 비장애인이 함께 어울려 모두가 행복하게 살아갈 수 있도록 복지에 적극 힘쓰겠다.”고 밝혔다.
