【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자= 대구 중구(구청장 류규하)는 오는 4월 1일 ‘2023년 서문시장 100주년 대축제’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
이번 축제는 신종 코로나바이러스 감염증 사태로 위축된 서문시장에 활력을 불어넣고 서문시장을 애용하시는 고객들에 대한 감사의 마음을 전하기 위해 대구서문시장연합회가 주최하고 대구 중구청의 후원으로 마련됐다.
축제는 1일 오후 6시 서문시장 100주년 기념공연 큰장별곡 뮤지컬을 시작으로 개막식이 진행된다.
또 서문시장 100주년 큰장가요제가 펼쳐진다. 예선은 오는 3월 31일 오후 3시부터 대신119안전센터 앞 야시장 야외무대에서 열릴 예정이다.
예선 참가신청은 대구 시민 누구나 가능하며 오는 29일까지 대구서문시장연합회로 전화신청 또는 이메일로 신청이 가능하다.
류규하 중구청장은 “올해는 특히 서문시장 100주년 행사를 기념하는 뜻깊은 해인 만큼 이번 축제에 시민들의 많은 관심와 참여가 있기를 바란다”고 밝혔다.
