대구시가 주최하고 대구청소년활동진흥센터가 주관하는 ‘청소년어울림마당’은 청소년들이 학업에서 잠시 벗어나 끼와 재능을 마음껏 펼칠 수 있도록 문화·축제의 장을 상시 마련해 주기 위한 행사로 청소년 기획단이 직접 행사를 기획하고, 진행, 홍보까지 주도적으로 참여한다.
13일, 대구시에 따르면 올해 주요 어울림마당 행사는 개막식(4월), 성년의 날 기념식 및 청소년 문화축제(5월), 대구국제청소년스포츠축제 연계 행사(7월), 세계 청소년의 날 연계 행사(8월), 행복페스티벌(10월), 폐막식(11월) 등 청소년의 위한 다양한 어울림마당을 연중 18회 상시 운영한다.
개막식은 대구대학교 치어리딩 동아리 ‘비호’의 축하공연을 시작으로 지역 청소년 동아리의 보컬, 댄스, 난타, 줄넘기 공연으로 꾸며지며 ‘인생네컷 포토부스’, ‘헤나&타투스티커 체험’, ‘드론체험’, ‘썬캐쳐 만들기’, 스탬프랠리 기념품 증정 이벤트 등 다양한 체험부스가 운영될 예정이다.
조경선 대구시 청년여성교육국장은 “청소년이 청소년 어울림마당을 통해 여가를 즐기고 문화예술 활동을 체험할 수 있길 바란다”며, “앞으로도 건전한 청소년 문화조성을 위한 다양한 정책을 발굴해 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.
