이번 택시요금 인상은 경상북도 물가대책위원회에서 결정한 택시요금 기준 조정 계획에 따른 조치로, 봉화군 택시요금은 약 3년 만에 조정된다. 이에 따라 기본요금은 500원 인상되며, 거리당 주행요금은 기존 131m당 100원에서 128m당 100원으로 변경된다.
