군에 따르면 지난 18일 열린 토마토 정식 행사에는 박현국 봉화군수와 농업기술센터 관계자를 비롯해 임대형 스마트팜 입주 청년농업인과 가족들이 참석했다. 이날 행사에서는 임대형 스마트팜 B동에 서양계 토마토 품종인 ‘데프니스(Dafnis)’ 2만 6,000주가 처음으로 정식됐다.

임대형 스마트팜은 봉화군 임대형 스마트팜 창업농 교육과 경북 스마트팜 청년창업보육센터 교육을 수료한 청년농업인을 대상으로 스마트농업 창업 기회를 제공하기 위해 조성됐다. 최첨단 온실 2동, 총 3.6ha 규모로 복합환경제어시스템과 양액 공급 시스템, 친환경 에너지 기반 냉난방 설비 등 최신 시설을 갖추고 있으며, 입주 청년농업인에게 3년간 임대된다.

군은 임대 기간 동안 청년농업인들이 스마트팜 운영에 필요한 실질적인 영농기술을 습득하고 안정적인 소득 기반을 마련할 수 있도록 선진지 벤치마킹과 전문가 컨설팅 등 다양한 지원 프로그램을 운영할 계획이다.

박현국 봉화군수는 “임대형 스마트팜을 통해 초기 투자 비용 부담으로 어려움을 겪는 청년농업인의 진입 장벽을 낮추고, 새로운 창업 기회를 제공하고 있다”며 “이를 통해 지역에 청년층 유입을 촉진하고 농촌에 활력을 불어넣어 봉화군 농업 대전환의 속도를 더욱 높여 나가겠다”고 말했다.

The leased smart farm was established to provide smart agricultural startup opportunities to young farmers who have completed training at the Bonghwa County leased smart farm startup training program and the Gyeongbuk Smart Farm Youth Startup Incubation Center. The two state-of-the-art greenhouses, spanning a total area of ​​3.6 hectares, feature state-of-the-art facilities such as a complex environmental control system, a nutrient supply system, and eco-friendly energy-based heating and cooling systems.
