봉화군은 2027년도 국가투자예산 확보와 신규 공모사업 발굴을 목표로 본격적인 국비 확보 체제에 돌입했다고 6일 밝혔다.

봉화군은 지난 5일 전 부서를 대상으로 ‘2027년 국가투자예산 사업 및 신규 공모사업 발굴 지침’을 전달하고, 정부 예산 편성 일정에 앞서 선제 대응에 나섰다. 이는 군의 핵심 사업들이 국가 예산에 반영될 수 있도록 사전에 준비하겠다는 전략적 판단에 따른 것이다.

이번 발굴 대상은 2027년도 국·도비 투자사업(신규 및 계속사업)과 중앙부처가 추진하는 각종 공모사업으로, 군은 실·과·소별로 최소 2건 이상의 신규 사업을 의무적으로 발굴하도록 했다. 이를 통해 기존 사업의 연속성을 유지하는 한편, 지역의 미래 성장동력이 될 혁신 사업을 적극 발굴한다는 방침이다.

특히 봉화군은 인구소멸 대응, 지역 특화 산업 육성, 탄소중립 등 국가 정책 방향과 연계된 사업을 집중 발굴해 국비 확보의 당위성과 실현 가능성을 높일 계획이다.

박현국 봉화군수는 “지방소멸 위기 극복과 지역 자생력 강화를 위해서는 안정적인 국가 예산 확보가 무엇보다 중요하다”며 “전 부서가 긴밀히 협력해 봉화군에 꼭 필요한 사업들이 정부 예산안에 최종 반영될 수 있도록 행정력을 집중하겠다”고 말했다.

한편 각 부서에서 발굴한 사업은 오는 1월 16일까지 예산 부서로 취합되며, 이후 타당성 검토와 전문가 자문을 거쳐 중앙부처와 경상북도에 순차적으로 건의될 예정이다.

On the 5th, Bonghwa County distributed the "2027 National Investment Budget Project and New Public Offering Project Identification Guidelines" to all departments and began proactively preparing ahead of the government budget allocation schedule. This is based on a strategic decision to proactively prepare for the county's core projects to be reflected in the national budget.

These projects include national and provincial investment projects (new and ongoing) for 2027 and various public offering projects promoted by central government agencies. Each division, office, and subdivision is required to identify at least two new projects. This initiative aims to maintain continuity with existing projects while actively identifying innovative projects that will serve as future growth engines for the region.

In particular, Bonghwa County plans to increase the legitimacy and feasibility of securing national funding by focusing on identifying projects aligned with national policy directions, such as responding to population decline, fostering specialized local industries, and achieving carbon neutrality.

Bonghwa County Mayor Park Hyeon-guk stated, "Securing a stable national budget is paramount to overcoming the local extinction crisis and strengthening local self-reliance. All departments will work closely together to focus our administrative efforts on ensuring that Bonghwa County's essential projects are ultimately reflected in the government budget."

Meanwhile, projects identified by each department will be collated with the budget office by January 16th. After a feasibility study and expert consultation, they will be sequentially submitted to the central government and Gyeongsangbuk-do Province.
