국민의힘 경북총괄선대위원장을 맡고 있는 김관용 전 경북도지사의 활약이 눈에 띄고 있다.

최근 이재명- 윤석열 두 후보의 지지율이 박빙인 상황에서 김관용 총괄선대위원장은 역전 노장답게 도당 유세 일정을 하루도 빠지지 않고 소화해 노익장을 과시하고 있다.

3선 도지사를 마치고 일선에서 물러나 있던 그가 2022년 대선에서 다시 등장한 것은 윤석열 후보와 국민의힘에 있어 그의 지도력과 정치력이 이 시국에 절실하다는 판단 때문에서였다.
