드론캠프 수업은 기수별 3일 과정으로 진행되며 간단한 이론교육을 통해 드론의 구조와 작동원리를 알아보고, 시뮬레이터를 활용한 비행 연습으로 실제 비행 전 조종법을 익힐 예정이다. 처음 드론을 접하는 학생들도 쉽게 흥미를 느낄 수 있도록 구성됐다.
특히, 드론 비행 실습 시간에는 경일대학교에서 준비한 산업용 드론을 통해 평소 쉽게 접할 수 없었던 산업용 드론 비행을 경험할 수 있다.
이태훈 달서구청장은 “이번 드론캠프가 미래의 주인공인 우리 아이들에게 꿈과 희망을 심어주는 시간이 되길 바란다. 드넓은 하늘을 바라보며 더 높은 곳을 향한 꿈을 꾸는 여러분이 되었으면 좋겠다. 앞으로도 미래 시대를 대비한 다양한 교육 프로그램을 통해 인재양성에 적극 힘쓰겠다.”고 밝혔다.
