【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자= 대구 달서구(구청장 이태훈)는 '2022 달서 전국대학생 발명아이디어 콘테스트'의 최종심사 및 시상식을 가졌다.

8일, 달서구에 따르면 이번 콘테스트는 지난 5월 2일부터 6월 17일까지 전국 대학생들의 다양한 생활 속 발명아이디어 50건이 접수돼 뜨거운 경쟁을 벌였다.

접수된 아이디어에 대해 전문기관의 선행기술조사를 실시한 후 1차 서류심사와 2차심사(발표 및 최종심사)를 통해 수상작 7건을 선정했다.

대상을 차지한 경북대학교 전자공학부 3학년 장현빈 학생의‘영유아 뇌 보호를 위한 스테디 카시트’출품작은 영유아가 차량 탑승 시 뇌에 전달되는 충격을 완화시켜주는 카시트 아이디어로 차후 영유아의 안전에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

대회는 총 상금 500만원 상당의 규모로 진행됐으며, 수상자에게는 상금과 상장을 수여했다.

특히, 대상 및 금상 출품작에 대해서는 지식재산권 등록을 받을 수 있도록 출원‧등록 비용을 지원하는 등 조건부 인센티브도 제공할 예정이다.

 이태훈 달서구청장은“나날이 새로운 기술이 등장하는 시대에 신기술 지향도시를 추구하는 달서구의 이 대회에 도전정신과 정열을 가지고 참여해 열띤 경쟁을 펼쳐 주신 학생 여러분들께 진심으로 감사드린다."고 말했다.

이어 "여러분들의 상상력과 아이디어가 대한민국을 신기술 강국으로 발돋음 시키는 초석이 될 것이며, 대회의 경험을 통해 실패에도 좌절하지 않고 끊임없이 상상하고 도전하여 미래의 신기술 시대를 이끄는 핵심인재로 성장해 주길 바란다.”고 덧붙였다.
