【브레이크뉴스 대구 】박은정 기자=대구시는 경북대병원 본원 이전을 적극 지원하기 위해 ‘경북대병원 이전 TF 지원단(단장 김종찬, 정책총괄단 부단장)’을 구성했다고 25일 밝혔다.
현재 중구 삼덕동에 위치한 경북대병원 본원은 진료공간 부족과 주차난 등의 문제가 있으나 현 위치에서는 시설 확장이 어려워 확장 이전의 필요성이 대두됐다.
이전 TF 지원단은 경북대병원과의 협력을 위한 보건의료정책관, 도시계획 검토를 위한 도시계획과, 교통접근성 지원을 위한 도로과 및 군부대 후적지 개발을 위한 부대이전과 등 4개 부서로 구성됐다.
지원단은 관련 부서와의 협조체계를 구축해 市 공간계획을 고려한 이전 후보지를 선정하고, 후보지별 입지 조건을 분석해 최적의 입지 선정 및 이에 따른 행정지원 방안 등을 발굴해 추진할 계획이다.
김종찬 대구시 미래50년추진과장은 “시민들에게 더 나은 진료환경을 제공하고 경북대병원이 지역거점병원으로서 중추적인 역할을 담당할 수 있도록 대구시(이전TF 지원단) 차원에서 경북대병원 이전을 적극적으로 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.
