대구시는 지난해 345억원을 투자해 전면 리모델링을 통한 현대화 공사를 진행중이며 현재 공정률은 70%다.
12일, 대구시에 따르면 새롭게 선보일 대구어린이회관은 0~3세, 4~9세 연령별 성장발달에 맞춘 디지털 및 아날로그 체험시설로 재구성한다.
또 최신 공연설비로 교체된 어린이 전용 극장과 시즌별 기획전시관, 다양한 프로그램 등을 운영해 아이와 부모가 함께 하는 놀이·문화·교육 복합공간으로 다시 태어날 계획이다.
신청대상 기관은 어린이시설 또는 유사시설(전시·공연·문화·교육) 운영한 경험이 있는 비영리법인, 사회복지법인, 대학으로 모집(공고) 기간은 오는 28일까지다.
선정 방법은 대구시 어린이회관 민간위탁 적격자심사위원회가 심사기준에 따라 수탁 우선협상대상자를 선정할 계획이며, 심사위원도 각 분야별 전문가를 공개 모집해 선정한다.
안중곤 대구시 청년여성교육국장은 “새롭게 선보일 어린이회관이 시민들의 기대에 부응하고 지속적으로 사랑받을 수 있도록 역량 있는 전문기관이 선정되길 바라며, 이를 위해 적극 홍보하고 있다”고 밝혔다.
