계명대는 2023학년도 신입생 정시모집을 전체 모집인원 4,640명 중 14.7%인 695명 모집한다고 밝히며 올해 처음으로 자율전공부를 정시모집 나군으로 모집하면서 가, 나, 다군 모두 모집한다고 21일 밝혔다.
계명대는 정원 내에서 가군 358명, 나군 15명, 다군 311명을, 정원 외에서는 의예과, 약학과, 제약학과, 간호학과에서 수능(농어촌전형)과 수능(고른기회전형)으로 11명을 선발하여 총 695명을 모집하며 전형요소별 성적 반영비율은 인문사회, 자연공학계열 모두 수능 100%로 백분위 점수를 적용하고 탐구영역의 경우 2개 과목의 백분위 점수 평균을 적용한다.
모집 군별 각각 한 개의 모집단위에 지원이 가능하며, 계열별 교차지원도 가능하며 이는 가, 나, 다군 모두 동일하게 적용되고 별도의 수능최저학력기준은 적용되지 않는다. 예체능계열은 가군에서 모집하며 수능 20%, 실기 80%로 선발한다.
계열별 수능 성적 반영비율을 살펴보면, 4개 영역 모두 동일하게 25%씩 반영되지만, 자연공학계열로 지원할 경우 수학 미적분 또는 기하에 5%, 과학탐구에 5%의 가산점을 적용한다. 의예과, 약학과, 제약학과의 경우 수학 미적분 또는 기하와 과학탐구 2개 과목을 반드시 응시해야 하며 별도의 가산점은 없다. 예체능계열은 국어와 수학 중 한 영역을 선택해 40%, 영어 30%, 탐구 30%를 반영한다.

계명대 도달현(신소재공학전공 교수) 입학처장은 “정시모집에는 대학마다 수능점수의 영역별 가중치와 영어 및 한국사 반영방법 등이 다르기 때문에 이를 감안하여 입시전략을 세워야 할 것이다”라고 말하고,“또한 전년도 입시결과를 참고할 경우 각 대학의 구조 개혁 및 수시 미충원 이월 인원으로 인한 학과별 정시 모집인원의 변화 등에 따른 영향을 감안하여 정시모집 지원전략을 수립할 필요가 있다.”고 말했다.
