18일 상주시청 대회의실에서 진행된 업무협약을 통해 관광· 문화 교류 강화, 고향사랑기부제 홍보 강화, 청년 교류 강화, 경북 특산물 판매지원 및 홍보에 상호 협력하기로 했다.

먼저, 관광· 문화 교류 강화에는 서울시가 광화문역 내 유휴공간을 제공하고 경북도가 콘텐츠를 구성하는 지역관광 안테나숍 개설에 대해 논의키로 했다.

또 고향사랑기부제 홍보 강화는 시와 도내 단체장의 기부행사와 기부자 대상으로 특화 관광자원을 활용한 관광상품 개발 등 공동협력사업을 발굴해 고향사랑 기부제를 활성화하기로 했다.

아울러, 청년 교류 강화에는 경북의 농업대전환에 서울 청년들이 농업기업인으로 참여하는 방안과 서울시의 청년취업사관학교 온라인 교육과정의 경북 개설 등에 대한 협의를 담고 있다.

마지막으로,경북 특산물 판매지원 및 홍보는 서울시 상생교류 플랫폼인 ‘상생상회’와 경북 온라인고향장터인‘사이소’간의 특별기획전 및 판매촉진 방안 및 농특산물 직거래 장터 참여 확대가 주요 골자다.

이철우 경북도지사는“도시와 지방의 정치․경제․문화 흐름이 지속적으로 강화돼야 관계인구가 늘어나고 지방의 자생력이 커진다”며, “지방에 사는 것이 행복한 시대, 생애 전 주기 걱정 없이 일하며 가정을 꾸리는 경북의 지방시대(K-local)를 만들고자 한다. 오도이촌(五都二村)이 아니라 4차 산업을 주도하고 농업대전환을 통해 경북에서 일하고 주말 여가를 도심지에서 지내는 오촌이도(五村二都)의 시대를 만들겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편 이날 오세훈 서울시장은 상주시에 고향사랑기부금을 전달하며 “상주(복룡동)가 외갓집으로 마음의 고향이라 생각한다. 서울시청 직원들 모두 고향사랑기부제에 동참토록 독려하겠다”며 “기부제의 활성을 통해 서울과 경북뿐만 아니라 타 지역도 함께 동반 상생하길 기원한다”고 밝혔다.
