【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경상북도는 경주에서 열리는 APEC 고위관리회의(SOM1)의 성공적인 개최를 위해 식음료안전관리에 총력을 기울인다는 방침이다.

10일 경북도에 따르면 이번 고위관리회의(SOM1) 식음료 안전관리는 경상북도가 주관하며, 22개 시군, 대구식약청, 경북보건환경연구원 등 관련 기관들이 협력해 5개 반 24개 조 90명으로 구성된 추진반을 통해, 2월 10일부터 3월9일까지 회의장(HICO)과 주요 숙박시설, 음식점 등을 대상으로 위생관리 전반에 대한 지도점검과 수거검사를 할 계획이다.

먼저, 회의 전(2.10.~2.23.)에는 도와 경주시, 대구식약청이 합동으로 식음료 시설의 안전관리 현황을 면밀하게 점검하고, 조리 종사자에 대한 노로바이러스 검사와 위생교육을 한다.

특히, 사전점검 첫날인 10일에는 도 보건정책과장과 대구지방식약청장 등 주요 관계자들이 각각 시설의 위생 상태와 조리 과정, 식품 보관 방법 등을 집중적으로 점검하고, 노로바이러스 등 식중독 예방을 위한 철저한 관리의 중요성을 강조할 예정이다.

또한, 24일부터 3월 9일까지 회의 기간에는 회의장(HICO)과 주요 숙박시설 5곳에 식음료검사관이 상시 배치되어 식재료 검수부터 배식까지 전 과정을 점검하고, 공식 오찬과 만찬 등 식중독 발생 우려가 있는 식품에 대해 신속히 검사해 안전한 먹거리 제공에 더욱 철저히 할 계획이다.

아울러, 회의 기간에는 식중독조사반을 편성·운영해 식중독 등 식품 안전사고 발생 시, 신속하게 대응할 수 있도록 할 방침이다.
