경북도에 따르면 3~4월은 연간 산불 발생 건수의 46%, 피해액의 96%가 집중되는 시기로, 최근 건조한 날씨와 강풍이 이어지면서 산불 발생 위험이 크게 높아진 상황이다.

이에 따라 도는 산불 취약지역을 중심으로 안전안내문자를 적극 발송해 예방 수칙과 행동요령을 전파하고, 재난안전 스마트시티 통합플랫폼 등 산불 관제시스템을 활용해 발생 우려 지역에 대한 사전 감시를 대폭 강화할 방침이다.

특히 재난안전상황실을 중심으로 상시 모니터링 체계를 유지하며, 지정문화재와 전통사찰, 노인복지시설, 전력설비 등 인명 및 재산 피해가 우려되는 주요 시설에 대한 집중 감시에 나선다.

산불 발생 시에는 신속한 초동 대응을 위해 국가재난관리정보시스템을 통한 상황 전파 및 보고체계를 유지하고, 소방·산림 등 유관기관과의 협력을 강화해 24시간 대응 태세를 확립한다.

아울러 행정안전부와 도·시군 간 실시간 상황 공유를 위해 재난안전통신망(PS-LTE)을 적극 활용하고, 비상 연락망을 재정비하는 등 특별근무 체제로 전환한다. 이를 통해 재난문자와 재난방송을 활용한 신속한 상황 전파와 긴급 대응 조치도 병행할 계획이다.
