투어에 참여한 한 수강생은 “대구 북구의 근대 경제와 문화를 직접 보고 들을 수 있어 색다른 경험이었다”면서도 “삼성상회와 제일모직 기념관이 미개방 상태여서 관련 전시를 볼 수 없었던 점은 아쉬웠다”고 말했다. 해설을 맡은 해설사 또한 “해당 공간이 개방되면 더욱 풍성한 해설이 가능할 것”이라며 빠른 시일 내 전시관 운영 재개를 기대했다.
