농어민수당 신청은 이달 1일부터 다음 달 13일까지 모바일로 가능하며, 방문 신청은 이달 23일부터 주소지 관할 읍·면사무소에서 접수할 수 있다. 모바일 신청은 행정기관 방문이나 서류 작성 없이 경상북도 ‘모이소’ 앱을 설치해 경북 도민증을 발급받은 뒤 신청할 수 있어 신청자의 편의를 높였다.
신청 대상은 농어업 경영정보를 등록한 경영주 가운데 실제 농업 또는 어업에 종사하는 농어민으로, 신청 연도인 올해 1월 1일 기준 1년 이상 계속해 경상북도 내에 주소를 둔 농어민 또는 농어업 경영체다.
다만 농어업 외 종합소득금액이 3천700만 원 이상인 경우, 최근 5년간(2021년~현재) 직불금 등 각종 보조금을 부정 수급한 이력이 있는 경우, 농지법·산지관리법·가축전염병예방법·수산업법 위반으로 처분을 받은 경우, 공무원이나 공공기관 임직원 등은 지급 대상에서 제외된다.
대상자로 선정되면 1인당 연 60만 원이 상반기(5~6월경)에 영덕사랑상품권으로 일괄 지급되며, 수당 수령 시까지 자격 요건을 유지해야 지급받을 수 있다.

Selected recipients will receive a lump sum payment of 600,000 won per person per year in the form of Yeongdeok Love Gift Certificates in the first half of the year (around May-June). Eligibility requirements must be met by the time the grant is received.
