영덕돌봄사업단은 대구한의대학교 산학협력단이 위탁 운영하는 영덕군실버복지관과 지난 20일 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 협약은 지역 특성을 반영한 맞춤형 통합돌봄을 실현하고, 돌봄 사각지대를 해소해 어르신들에게 실질적인 복지 혜택을 확대하기 위해 마련됐다.

양 기관은 협약에 따라 △어르신 돌봄 및 생활 지원 서비스 연계 △복지·돌봄 프로그램 공동 운영 및 교류 △취약계층 어르신 발굴 및 맞춤형 서비스 제공 △긴급 돌봄 발생 시 사례관리 협조 △지역사회 네트워크 구축 및 공동사업 추진 등 다양한 분야에서 협력을 강화하기로 했다.

이를 통해 영덕군은 복지 사각지대를 촘촘히 보완하는 통합돌봄 안전망을 구축하고, 지역 어르신과 취약계층에 대한 서비스 질을 한층 높일 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

김명용 영덕돌봄사업단 대표는 “이번 협약을 통해 도움이 필요한 이웃들에게 보다 체계적이고 지속적인 지원이 가능해질 것”이라며 “앞으로도 지역사회와의 협력을 바탕으로 따뜻한 복지 공동체 구현에 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편 영덕돌봄사업단은 영해면, 축산면, 병곡면, 창수면 등 북부권 4개 지역을 중심으로 취약·홀몸 어르신의 건강 유지와 안정적인 노후 생활을 지원하는 맞춤형 돌봄 서비스를 제공하고 있다.

The Yeongdeok Care Project Group announced that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the 20th with the Yeongdeok-gun Senior Welfare Center, which is entrusted to and operated by the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of Daegu Hani University.

This agreement was established to realize customized integrated care reflecting local characteristics, eliminate blind spots in care, and expand practical welfare benefits for the elderly.

According to the agreement, both organizations agreed to strengthen cooperation in various fields, including: linking elderly care and living support services; jointly operating and exchanging welfare and care programs; identifying vulnerable elderly individuals and providing customized services; cooperating on case management in the event of emergency care; and building community networks and promoting joint projects. Through this, Yeongdeok County is expected to establish an integrated care safety net that comprehensively addresses welfare blind spots and further enhance the quality of services for local seniors and vulnerable groups.

Kim Myeong-yong, Representative of the Yeongdeok Care Project Group, stated, “Through this agreement, we will be able to provide more systematic and continuous support to neighbors in need,” adding, “We will continue to strive to realize a warm welfare community based on cooperation with the local community.”

Meanwhile, the Yeongdeok Care Project Group provides customized care services centered on four northern regions, including Yeonghae-myeon, Chuksan-myeon, Byeonggok-myeon, and Changsu-myeon, to support the health maintenance and stable later life of vulnerable and elderly people living alone.
