대구지역 전문지식인 509명이 더불어민주당 대선주자인 정세균 후보에 대한 지지를 선언했다.

지지선언식에 동참한 전문지식인 509명은 지지선언문을 통해 정세균 후보에 대해 “더불어민주당 대선주자 중 유일하게 대한민국의 시대적 당면과제를 해결할 적임자”라고 표현하며“양극화로 분열된 사회적 갈등을 통합과 화합으로 이끌어 나갈 정세균 후보를 적극 지지한다”고 밝혔다.

특히 이들은 “국무총리 시절, 코로나19 방역 현장지휘를 위해 대구에 상주하면서 대구의 위상을 높여준 것에 대해 대구 시민으로서 감사하다”면서 “서민을 포용하는 공정한 사회, 풍요로운 서민들의 생활, 자랑스러운 대한민국을 만들어달라”는 바람을 전했다.
