【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=영진전문대학교(총장 최재영) 호텔항공관광과 졸업예정인 일본인 유학생 4명과 한국인 학생 1명이 그랜드 하얏트 제주 채용면접에 합격했다고 12일 밝혔다.
지난 6일 그랜드 하얏트 제주는 주문식 교육 협약식을 체결하고 영진전문대 호텔항공관광과 학생들을 대상으로 한 회사 규모와 근무환경, 채용조건 등을 설명하는 채용설명회와 면접을 진행했다.
영진전문대 호텔항공관광과는 이를 통해 졸업예정인 일본인 유학생 4명과 한국인 학생 1명이 그랜드 하얏트 제주 채용면접에 합격했다는 소식을 전했다.
이날 최승호 그랜드 하얏트 제주 인사부 차장은 “호텔에 근무하고 있는 영진 출신 일본인 직원이 일을 잘해 내부 평이 좋다”고 밝히며 “영진전문대학교 호텔항공관광과에 일본인 유학생뿐만 아니라 우수한 한국인 인재도 많다고 알고 있다. 이번 협약에 이어 영진과 장기적인 협력 관계를 이어 나갈 생각이다”고 전했다.
일본 나고야 출신으로 서른 나이에 합격 소식을 들은 히다카 사키(호텔항공관광과 2년) 씨는 “한국어에 대한 관심으로 용기를 내 영진에 입학한 했는데 세계적인 호텔에 근무하게 된 것이 꿈만 같다. 한국어와 일본어를 겸한 멋진 호텔리어로 성장하고 싶다”고 했다.

I want to grow into a good hotelier who can speak Korean and Japanese.”
