10일, 대학에 따르면 지난 9일 대구대 국제관계학과 교수와 학생 10여 명은 학과 엠티를 대신하여 대구 비산동에 위치한 사랑의빵나누기운동본부를 방문해 봉사활동에 나섰다.
이날 봉사를 위해 아침 일찍 모인 교수와 학생들은 빵 만들기 과정에 대한 설명을 들은 후 직접 반죽을 하고 빵을 구웠다
하영수 대구대 국제관계학과 교수는 “이태원 참사로 슬픔에 빠져 있을 때 의미 있는 활동을 하는 것이 좋겠다고 생각한 학생들이 기특하다”면서 “학생들의 예쁜 마음이 담긴 이 빵이 어려운 이웃을 위해 잘 쓰이길 바란다.”고 말했다.
심미진 사랑의빵나누기운동본부 사무국장은 “날씨도 점점 추워지고 경제도 어려워지면서 주변의 어려운 이웃을 위한 따뜻한 관심과 손길이 어느 때보다 필요하다”면서 “학생들이 기꺼이 봉사활동에 동참해줘서 감사하다”고 말했다.
