【브레이크뉴스 경북】박은정 기자=경산시(시장 조현일)는 학부모의 교육비 부담경감과 교육의 공공성 강화를 위해 중·고등학교에 입학하는 학생들에게도 1인당 30만원의 교복구입비를 지원한다고 28일 밝혔다.
2023년 3월 2일 현재 경산시에 주민등록을 두고 교복을 착용하는 학교에 입학하는 신입생은 3월 6일부터 11월 말까지 신청할 수 있다.
경산지역 학교 학생은 재학 중인 학교에서 다른 지역 학교 학생은 주소지 읍면동에서 신청할 수 있으며, 주민등록 및 중복지원 여부 등을 검토한 후 5월 이후부터 순차적으로 지급할 예정이다.
또 집중신청시간(3월 20일 ~ 4월 7일)을 운영해 이 기간에 재학 중인 학교에서 신청서를 일괄 신청받아 신청자들의 편의를 도모할 계획이다.
교복 구입비 신청·접수와 관련한 자세한 사항은 시청 평생학습과 또는 주소지 읍면동 행정복지센터로 문의하면 된다.
조현일 경산시장은 “새 학교 새 학년을 맞이하는 신입생의 설레는 입학 시즌에 교복 구입비 지원이 학부모의 교육비 부담을 덜어 실질적인 도움이 되기를 바라며, 앞으로 다양한 교육정책을 발굴하는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
