대구시와 대구경북기계협동조합은 오프라인 마케팅을 집중 강화해 지역기업의 해외 판로 및 수출 확대 전략을 추진한다고 3일 밝혔다.

‘기계산업 수출역량 강화사업은 지역 주력산업인 기계산업 분야의 수출 경쟁력 강화를 위해 온·오프라인 병행 방식으로 해외 마케팅을 집중 지원하는 사업으로 올해는 지원기업의 수출 목표액을 지난해 목표액(1천 500만달러) 보다 6.6% 상향된 1천 600만달러로 정할 계획이다.

특히, 지난해에는 전 세계적인 코로나19 팬데믹 상황에서도 온라인 상담회 및 전시회 참가 등 지속적인 지원사업을 추진해 당초 수출목표액의 98%에 달하는 1천 471만달러 수출로 역대 최대의 성과를 이루어낸 바 있다.

올해는 코로나19 상황 완화 및 코로나 이후 시대 방역체계 전환에 대비해 오프라인 마케팅을 집중 강화해  온라인 화상상담회를 현지 수출상담회로, 해외 현지 마케팅 거점을 중앙아시아 지역 등으로 2개소 추가 확대해 운영할 예정이다. 

또 해외 대규모 기계전시회에 대구시 공동관을 운영해 지역기업들이 글로벌시장에 진출할 수 있는 기회를 마련하고 실질적인 계약 성과까지 이룰 수 있도록 참가 비용을 지원할 계획이다.

아울러 온라인 E-전시회를 반기별로 개최해 기업별 주요 품목에 대한 정보를 제공함으로써 해외바이어의 문의나 견적에 직접 대응할 수 있는 창구를 상시 운영할 계획이다. 

또 수출입 관련 전문가를 활용해 무역 절차, 국제규정 등에 대한 정보수집이나 전문인력 부족 등의 어려움을 겪고 있는 지역 업체들에 실무적인 컨설팅을 제공한다.        

올해 세부 사업별로 참여하고자 하는 기업은 대구시 수출지원시스템에서 온라인으로 신청할 수 있으며 제품 및 기술 수준, 해외시장 진출 의지, 현지 시장성 등의 기준에 따라 지원 기업을 선정할 예정이다.

정해용 대구시 경제부시장은 “장기간의 코로나19 상황으로 지역 기계산업분야 기업들이 생산, 물류에 이어 해외 수출에도 많은 어려움을 겪고 있는 상황이지만, 위기를 기회로 삼아 뚝심 있는 도전 정신으로 작년에는 최대의 성과를 낼 수 있었다”며, “향후에도 지역기업의 회복과 성장을 견인할 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않을 것”이라고 밝혔다.
