지난 9일 대구한의대 한의학과가 삼성캠퍼스 복지관에서 한의학과 졸업생 200여명이 참석한 가운데 홈커밍데이 행사를 실시했다고 10일 밝혔다.
행사는 변창훈 총장의 환영사로 시작해 특강, 감사패 수여, 캠퍼스 투어 등이 진행되었다.
이날 행사에서는 한의학과 동아리 재학생들이 사물놀이와 통기타 음악, 힙합음악 등의 축하공연을 펼쳤고 설립자인 변정환 명예총장의 한의학 특강에 나서 재학생과 졸업생이 함께 어우러지는 뜻 깊은 행사가 이어졌다.
또한 코리아향진원 김부진 대표, 선재한의원 백선재 원장, 광명 차 한의원 차언명원장, 한의학과 6기 졸업생 등이 모교 발전과 후배들의 장학금 적립을 위해 발전기금을 기부해 졸업생들의 모교와 후배들을 위한 마음과 도움이 더욱 활성화 되는 계기를 마련하였다.
변창훈 총장은 “한의학과 동창회 임원진을 비롯한 동문 여러분들의 모교를 위한 애정과 지원에 보답하기 위해 앞으로도 더욱 더 노력하여 지역을 선도하고 우리나라와 세계가 필요로 하는 우수한 한의학 인재를 양성하는 대학으로 계속 발전시켜 나가도록 하겠다”고 하였으며, 대구한의대학교의 발전과 역사를 살펴보는 캠퍼스투어를 마지막으로 행사가 성황리에 마무리 되었다.
