【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=DGIST(총장 이건우)가 전국 6개 과학기술특성화대학 체육대항전 ‘제6회 스타디움(STadium)’을 개최한다고 8일 밝혔다.

오는 9일 DGIST에서 열리는 행사는 대한민국 과학기술 인재들이 스포츠와 문화 교류를 통해 화합을 도모하기 위해 마련된 것으로 6개 과학기술특성화대학 재학생 약 1,000여 명이 참가할 예정이다. 

대회는 개회식을 시작으로 야구, 축구, 농구, 배드민턴, E-스포츠(리그 오브 레전드) 등 총 5개 종목으로 진행된다. 

학생들이 준비한 문화 공연도 함께 펼쳐져 교류의 장이 될 것으로 기대된다. 

각 학교 총학생회는 이번 대회를 계기로 향후 상호 협력과 교류 방안에 대해 논의하는 시간도 가질 예정이다.

DGIST 이건우 총장은 “과학기술 인재들의 화합의 장인 STadium을 DGIST에서 개최하게 되어 뜻깊게 생각한다”며 “스포츠와 문화를 통해 교류하고 화합하는 소중한 자리인 만큼, 참가하는 학생들에게 좋은 추억이 되길 기대하며, 각 학교 간 상호 협력과 교류를 강화하는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 밝혔다.

DGIST (President Lee Geon-woo) announced on the 8th that it will hold the ‘6th STadium’, a sports competition between six science and technology specialized universities across the country.

The event to be held at DGIST on the 9th is designed to promote harmony among science and technology talents in Korea through sports and cultural exchanges, and approximately 1,000 students from six science and technology specialized universities are expected to participate.
