【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구 달성군립도서관이 ‘방학, 도서관에서 과학관 가기’ 등 관내 기관 탐방프로그램을 진행한다고 25일 밝혔다.

‘방학, 도서관에서 과학관 가기’는 지역 어린이들이 국립대구과학관에 방문해 전시 해설을 듣고 직접 체험해 보는 프로그램으로 초등 1~2학년, 초등 3~4학년 대상으로 2일에 걸쳐 진행되었다.

‘생명의 진화관’을 기획한 박사님의 해설을 따라 고생대, 중생대, 신생대 생물 등을 알아보고 꿈나무 과학관‘아이들월드’에서 다양한 체험을 통해 자유롭게 상상을 실현하는 시간을 가지며 아이들과 부모님들의 큰 호응을 얻었다.

2월 봄방학에는 진로에 관심이 있는 초등학교 6학년, 중학교 1학년을 대상으로 대구경북과학기술원(DGIST)을 방문·탐방하여 아이들의 꿈에 동기를 부여하는 시간을 가질 예정이다.

최재훈 달성군수는“도서관에서 진행하는 다양한 탐방·체험프로그램을 통해 아이들이 한 뼘 더 성장할 수 있는 시간을 갖길 바란다.”며  “지역민을 위해 다양한 프로그램을 알차게 준비하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
