【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=달성 청년혁신센터 운영기관에 DGIST(총장 국양)가 최종 선정됐다.
17일 달성군(군수 최재훈)에 따르면 지난 16일 달성 청년센터 민간위탁심의위원회 심의 결과 DGIST가 수탁기관으로 선정됐다고 밝혔다.
DGIST 산학협력단은 창업실적 55개사, 투자유치 556억 원 등 국내 최고의 창업지원 역량과 노하우를 바탕으로 달성 빛 CAMPUS 청년창업가 모집, 창업 아카데미 운영, 창업 Value-up 지원 사업, 창업아이디어 공모전, 달성 빛 CAMPUS Power bridge 등 다양한 창업지원 사업을 추진할 계획이다.
또 DGIST 내 보유하고 있는 산학협력 프로그램, 시설·장비 등과 연계하여 지역 청년의 창업 및 기술경영지원을 한층 레벨 업 시킨다는 방침이다.
최재훈 달성군수는“지역 내 명문대학인 DGIST와의 협업은 지역 청년창업을 발돋움시키는 새로운 모델로서, 달성군은 DGIST가 보유한 역량을 더해 '청년이 빛나는 달성'으로 힘차게 비상하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
