변창훈 총장은 “취업률은 단순한 통계가 아니라 대학이 지역과 산업, 학생의 미래를 얼마나 유기적으로 연결하고 있는지를 보여주는 지표”라며 “교육부의 고등교육 혁신 정책을 현장에서 실질적인 성과로 구현하는 대학 모델을 지속적으로 발전시켜 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
