【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구한의대학교(총장 변창훈) 평생교육지원센터(센터장 김진숙)는 지난 26일 대학·지자체·산업체 연계 협력 플랫폼인 APT-Nexus를 기반으로 한 지역사회 협력 네트워크 행사를 성황리에 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 지역혁신중심대학지원체계(RISE) 추진 방향에 맞춰 성인학습자 중심의 평생교육과 전문인력 양성 성과를 공유하고, 지역특화 산업과 연계한 협력 생태계 구축 및 향후 발전 방향을 모색하기 위해 마련됐다.

이날 행사에는 변창훈 대구한의대학교 총장을 비롯해 조현일 경산시장, 김광열 영덕군수, 김하수 청도군수, 김상동 경상북도인재평생교육재단 대표이사 등 지자체 및 유관기관 관계자와 대학 교직원, 협력 기관 대표 등 내빈 100여 명과 미래라이프융합대학 소속 학과 대표 학생 120여 명 등 총 220여 명이 참석했다.

행사는 퍼포먼스와 함께한 내빈 입장을 시작으로 국민의례, 환영사, 격려사, 축사 순으로 진행되며 지역 상생 협력의 의미를 공유했다. 이어 상영된 프롤로그 영상 ‘성인학습자의 변화’는 배움을 통해 변화한 개인의 삶과 지역사회에 미치는 긍정적 영향을 조명하며 참석자들의 공감을 이끌어냈다.

본 프로그램에서는 ‘기록이 되어 남은 성장의 순간’을 주제로 성인학습자의 성장 사례 발표가 이어졌다. 청도인적자원개발과 최수규, 평생교육융합학부 이명주, 한약개발과 설영권, 영덕지역활동가 김경욱, 메디푸드HMR산업학과 김준오, 평생교육융합학부 김은향 등 다양한 분야의 참여자들이 학습과 현장 경험을 바탕으로 한 생생한 성장 이야기를 공유하며, 배움이 개인의 성장을 넘어 지역 혁신으로 확장되는 과정을 전했다.

행사 이후에는 자유 네트워킹 시간을 통해 대학과 지자체, 유관기관 간 협력 가능성을 논의하고, 지속 가능한 지역 파트너십 구축 방안에 대한 의견을 나누는 시간도 마련됐다.

김진숙 평생교육지원센터장은 “이번 행사는 단순한 성과 공유를 넘어 성인학습자의 변화가 곧 지역의 성장으로 이어진다는 점을 확인하는 자리였다”며 “앞으로도 APT-Nexus를 중심으로 교육·정책·산업·현장을 유기적으로 연결하는 지속 가능한 지역사회 협력 모델을 강화해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 대구한의대학교는 이번 행사를 계기로 지역 혁신 성과를 지속적으로 확산하고, RISE 체계에 부합하는 지역 맞춤형 성인학습자 인재 양성을 적극 추진할 계획이다.

The event was attended by approximately 220 people, including President Byeon Chang-hoon of Daegu Haany University, Gyeongsan Mayor Cho Hyun-il, Yeongdeok County Mayor Kim Gwang-yeol, Cheongdo County Mayor Kim Ha-su, and Gyeongsangbuk-do Human Resources Lifelong Education Foundation CEO Kim Sang-dong. Around 100 guests, including university faculty and staff, representatives of partner organizations, and 120 students representing departments at the Future Life Convergence College, attended the event.

The event began with a performance and the guests' entrance, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance, welcoming remarks, words of encouragement, and congratulatory remarks, sharing the meaning of regional cooperation and mutual benefit. The prologue video, "Transformation of Adult Learners," then resonated with attendees, highlighting the positive impact of learning on individuals' lives and the local community.

The program continued with presentations on the growth stories of adult learners, focusing on the theme of "Moments of Growth That Remain Recorded." Participants from various fields, including Choi Soo-kyu from the Cheongdo Human Resources Development Department, Lee Myung-joo from the Department of Lifelong Education Convergence, Seol Young-kwon from the Department of Herbal Medicine Development, Kim Kyung-wook, a local activist from Yeongdeok, Kim Jun-oh from the Department of Medifood HMR Industry, and Kim Eun-hyang from the Department of Lifelong Education Convergence, shared vivid stories of growth based on their learning and field experiences, demonstrating how learning extends beyond personal growth to regional innovation.

Following the event, a networking session was held to discuss potential collaborations between universities, local governments, and related organizations, as well as ways to build sustainable regional partnerships.

Kim Jin-sook, Director of the Lifelong Education Support Center, stated, "This event went beyond simply sharing results and confirmed that changes in adult learners directly lead to regional growth." She added, "We will continue to strengthen sustainable community collaboration models that organically connect education, policy, industry, and the field, centered around APT-Nexus."

Meanwhile, Daegu Haany University plans to use this event as an opportunity to continuously disseminate regional innovation achievements and actively pursue the development of customized adult learners in line with the RISE framework.
