【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=글로컬대학 대구한의대학교(총장 변창훈) RISE사업단은 최근 2박 3일간 경주 한화리조트에서 ‘2025 LEVEL-UP LEADERSHIP CAMP(레벨업 리더십 캠프)’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 캠프는 예비 취·창업인을 대상으로 한 실무 역량 강화 프로그램으로, 전 학과 재학생 가운데 선발된 26명이 참여했다. 참가 학생들은 조직 이해를 바탕으로 직무별 핵심 역량을 학습하고, 현장 중심의 실습을 통해 실무 감각을 키웠다.

교육 과정은 총 22시간, 4단계로 구성됐다. 1~3단계에서는 직장인의 기본 소양과 비즈니스 매너, 조직문화와 의사소통, 가상 회사 실습 등을 통해 직무 이해와 실무 역량을 단계적으로 강화했다. 4단계에서는 팀별 실무 미션 결과를 발표하고 상호 피드백을 진행했으며, ‘투자하고 싶은 회사’를 선정해 미션 완성도와 사업 가치를 평가했다.

참여 학생들은 이번 프로그램을 통해 주도적인 문제 해결 능력과 도전 정신을 기르고, 리더의 역할과 책임에 대한 이해를 높였다는 평가다. 특히 조직 내 리더십이 성과와 혁신으로 이어지는 과정을 직접 체감하며 취·창업 준비에 실질적인 도움을 받았다는 반응이다.

캠프에 참여한 이수안 학생(화장품공학전공 3학년)은 “회사 생활의 기본과 실무 흐름을 직접 경험할 수 있어 취·창업 준비에 큰 도움이 됐다”며 “실무에 대한 자신감을 얻는 계기가 됐다”고 말했다.

백정인 산학연계교육지원센터장은 “학생들이 사회 진출 전 실제 현장에서 요구되는 역량을 체계적으로 경험할 수 있도록 이번 캠프를 기획했다”며 “앞으로도 학생 수요를 반영한 실무 중심 교육 프로그램을 지속적으로 운영해 직무 역량과 현장 이해도를 높여 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Daegu Haany University's RISE Project Group Hosts 'LEVEL-UP Leadership Camp' to Strengthen the Capabilities of Aspiring Employees and Entrepreneurs

The RISE Project Group of Daegu Haany University (President Byun Chang-hoon), a global university, recently announced the launch of the "2025 LEVEL-UP LEADERSHIP CAMP" at the Hanwha Resort in Gyeongju.

This camp, a practical capacity-building program for aspiring employees and entrepreneurs, was attended by 26 students selected from all departments. Participants learned core competencies for each job based on organizational understanding and developed practical skills through field-based training.

The curriculum consisted of 22 hours and four stages. Stages 1 through 3 gradually strengthened their job understanding and practical capabilities through courses such as basic workplace skills, business etiquette, organizational culture and communication, and simulated company practice. In the fourth stage, each team presented the results of their practical missions and provided mutual feedback. They then selected companies they wanted to invest in, assessing their mission completion and business value.

Participating students reported that the program fostered proactive problem-solving skills and a spirit of challenge, while also enhancing their understanding of the roles and responsibilities of leadership. They particularly appreciated the practical benefits of experiencing firsthand how leadership within an organization leads to performance and innovation, which helped them prepare for employment and entrepreneurship.

Lee Su-an (third-year Cosmetic Engineering major), a participant in the camp, said, "Being able to experience the fundamentals of corporate life and the workflow firsthand was a huge help in preparing for employment and entrepreneurship. It also gave me the confidence to work in the field."

Baek Jeong-in, Director of the Industry-Academic Collaboration Education Support Center, stated, "We planned this camp to provide students with systematic exposure to the competencies required in real-world settings before entering the workforce. We will continue to offer practical, hands-on educational programs tailored to student needs to enhance their job competencies and understanding of the field."
