K-MOOC는 교육부가 주관하는 국가 수준의 온라인 공개강좌 플랫폼으로, 매년 강좌 운영 성과와 학습자 만족도, 콘텐츠 품질 등을 종합적으로 평가해 우수 강좌와 교수자를 선정하고 있다.

이번 평가는 2024년 운영된 K-MOOC 강좌 1,465개를 대상으로 진행됐으며, 대구한의대학교는 두 명의 교수가 동시에 최우수강좌 교수자로 선정되는 성과를 달성했다.

송지청 교수는 '우리 말·먹거리·놀거리로 풀어보는 한국의 건강문화' 강좌를 통해 국내외 학습자들의 높은 호응을 이끌어냈으며, 박재효 교수는 '한의학 기반 디지털 헬스케어와 재활' 강좌에서 한의학과 물리치료학, 디지털 기술을 융합한 교육 콘텐츠를 선보여 평생교육의 질적 향상과 국민 건강 증진에 기여한 공로를 인정받았다.

대구한의대학교는 한의학, 웰니스, 바이오, 디지털 헬스케어 분야 특성화를 기반으로 K-MOOC와 AID 집중과정 등 디지털 기반 교육을 지속적으로 확대해 왔다. 특히 외국인 학습자와 일반인을 대상으로 한 공개강좌를 꾸준히 개발하며 대학 교육 자원의 지역 및 해외 확산 전략을 추진하고 있다.

장정현 노마드교육혁신처장은 “이번 K-MOOC 연차평가 성과는 교수자들의 헌신적인 콘텐츠 개발 노력과 대학 차원의 체계적인 온라인 교육 지원이 만들어낸 결과”라며 “앞으로도 한의학과 전통문화, 디지털 헬스케어 등 대학의 특성화를 반영한 K-MOOC 강좌를 확대해 교내외 학습자에게 신뢰받는 온라인 교육 모델을 구축하겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 대구한의대학교는 지난해에도 '우리 말·먹거리·놀거리로 풀어보는 한국의 건강문화'와 '외국인 학습자를 위한 대학생활 101: 성공적인 대학생활을 위한 핵심정보' 등 2개 강좌가 최우수 등급인 블루리본 강좌로 선정되며 온라인 교육 우수성을 입증한 바 있다.

대구한의대는 이번 성과를 계기로 대학 특성화 분야를 반영한 양질의 교육 콘텐츠를 지속적으로 개발·확산해 교내외 학습자와 시민이 함께 성장하는 평생학습 기반 조성에 나설 계획이다.

Professor Song Ji-cheong's course, "Unraveling Korean Health Culture through Korean Language, Food, and Entertainment," garnered enthusiastic responses from both domestic and international students. Professor Park Jae-hyo's course, "Digital Healthcare and Rehabilitation Based on Korean Medicine," presented educational content that integrated Korean medicine, physical therapy, and digital technology, and was recognized for contributing to the qualitative advancement of lifelong education and the promotion of national health.

Daegu Haany University has continuously expanded its digital-based education offerings, including K-MOOC and AID intensive courses, based on its specialization in Korean medicine, wellness, biotechnology, and digital healthcare. In particular, the university is steadily developing open courses for international learners and the general public, pursuing a strategy to expand its educational resources both regionally and internationally.

Meanwhile, Daegu Haany University demonstrated its excellence in online education last year when two courses, "Korean Health Culture Unraveled through Korean Language, Food, and Entertainment" and "University Life 101 for International Learners: Key Information for a Successful College Life," were selected as Blue Ribbon courses, the highest rating.
