【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구한의대학교(총장 변창훈) 한방바이오창업보육센터는 '글로컬대학30' 사업의 일환으로 최근 1박 2일 일정으로 ‘2025년도(2차) K-MEDI 창업사관학교(2기) BM 로드캠프–IDEA LAB’을 운영했다고 밝혔다.
이번 로드캠프는 K-MEDI 분야 창업기업과 예비창업자를 대상으로 린스타트업(Lean Startup) 기반의 사업모델(BM) 고도화와 실질적인 창업 역량 강화를 목표로 기획됐다. 참가자들은 고객 문제 정의부터 문제–솔루션 적합성 검증에 이르기까지 단계별 실무 교육과 전문가 컨설팅을 통해 창업 아이템의 시장성과 실현 가능성을 점검했다.
특히 비즈니스 모델 캔버스(Business Model Canvas)를 활용한 사업계획 수립 실습과 전문가 피드백을 통해 고객 세그먼트, 가치 제안, 수익 구조 등 핵심 요소를 구체화하며 사업모델의 완성도를 높였다.
이와 함께 숲속자연교육농장과 영덕 지역 로컬기업 홍일식품을 방문해 체험형 콘텐츠 운영 사례와 지역 산업 기반 창업 사례를 살펴보는 현장 프로그램도 진행됐다. 이를 통해 K-MEDI 산업과 지역 자원을 연계한 로컬 기반 창업 모델의 가능성을 모색했다.
권구명 한방바이오창업보육센터장은 “이번 BM 로드캠프는 실무 교육과 현장 체험을 결합해 참가자들의 사업모델 이해도와 실행 역량을 높이는 계기가 됐다”며 “앞으로도 K-MEDI 산업을 중심으로 지역과 연계한 창업 지원 프로그램을 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

Daegu Haany University (President Byun Chang-hoon) announced that it recently held the "2025 (2nd) K-MEDI Entrepreneurship Academy (2nd Session) BM Road Camp – IDEA LAB" as part of the "Glocal University 30" project.
This road camp was designed to enhance the business model (BM) of K-MEDI startups and aspiring entrepreneurs based on the Lean Startup approach and strengthen their practical entrepreneurial capabilities. Participants assessed the marketability and feasibility of their startup ideas through step-by-step practical training and expert consulting, from defining customer problems to verifying problem-solution fit.
In particular, the program focused on business plan development using the Business Model Canvas and provided expert feedback to refine key elements such as customer segments, value propositions, and revenue structures, enhancing the completeness of their business models.
Additionally, a field program was conducted, where participants visited the Forest Nature Education Farm and Hongil Food, a local company in Yeongdeok, to explore examples of experiential content operations and local industry-based startups. Through these programs, they explored the potential of a locally-based startup model that connects K-MEDI industries with local resources.
Kwon Gu-myeong, Director of the Korean Medicine Bio Startup Incubation Center, stated, "This BM Road Camp combined practical training with field experience, enhancing participants' understanding of business models and their execution capabilities. We will continue to expand our local startup support programs, focusing on the K-MEDI industry."
