【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=제15회 대구국제뮤지컬페스티벌(이하 DIMF)을 앞두고 축제를 함께 이끌어갈 딤프지기 모집이 시작된다.

오는 6월 18일부터 7월 5일까지 18일간 뮤지컬의 열기로 도심을 뜨겁게 채워갈 DIMF는 지난 14년간 누적 딤프지기가 2,500여 명을 돌파할 만큼 오랜 역사와 명성을 자랑하는 대구의 대표적인 축제이다.

딤프지기로 선발되면 뮤지컬 공연과 다채로운 프로그램이 열리는 축제 현장에서 다양한 경험을 할 수 있어 방학 기간을 활용해 특별한 대외 활동을 찾아온 대학생을 중심으로 휴학생, 전업주부, 뮤지컬 마니아, 퇴직 후 지역 봉사를 위해 찾아온 중∙장년층 등의 높은 경쟁률과 재지원율을 기록하고 있으며 올해도 특별한 추억을 쌓고자 하는 이들의 적극적인 지원이 기대된다.

특히 최근에는 공연 예술계로 진로를 꿈꾸는 예비 기획자, 공연 제작자들이 ‘딤프지기’ 활동을 통해 현장 경험을 쌓고자 지원하는 사례가 늘고 있어 대한민국을 대표하는 문화 브랜드로서 DIMF의 입지를 여실히 증명해주고 있다. 

지난해 개최된 제14회 DIMF는 딤프지기를 중심으로 한 철저한 방역으로 코로나19 상황 속에서도 성공적인 축제를 개최해 공연예술분야 모범 방역 사례로 호평 받은 바 있다.

오는 제15회 DIMF 역시 체계적인 딤프지기 교육 및 방역시스템을 바탕으로 참여하는 관객과 출연진 모두가 안전한 축제를 만들어 가고자 한다.

제15회 DIMF 자원활동가 ‘딤프지기’는 사전 활동 경험으로 현장을 리드할 ‘딤프지기 매니저’ 10명을 비롯해 공연장 방역과 하우스 운영의 역할을 맡을 ‘공연장 운영’ 60명, 온/오프라인을 통해 DIMF를 널리 알리게 될 ‘홍보’ 10명, 공연장을 넘어 야외를 누비며 다채로운 행사의 현장을 지원하는 ‘부대행사/연계행사’ 30명, 그리고 해외 공연팀 및 관계자의 원활한 의사소통을 돕게 될 ‘통역(중국어)’ 10명을 총 5개 분야 120명 규모로 선발할 계획이다. 

뮤지컬을 사랑하고 열정적인 자원활동을 통해 잊지 못할 추억을 쌓길 바라는 누구나 지원할 수 있는 ‘딤프지기’는 3월 19일부터 4월 19일까지 한 달간 DIMF 홈페이지를 통해 신청할 수 있으며 한국어로 의사소통이 가능한 국내 거주 외국인에게도 기회가 주어진다.

최종 선발된 딤프지기에게는 1336 자원봉사센터를 통한 자원봉사 확인서가 발급되며 소정의 활동비와 유니폼, 기념품 제공 등을 포함한 특별한 혜택이 제공된다.

The 15th DIMF volunteer activist'Dimp Keeper' includes 10'Dimp Keeper Managers' who will lead the site with prior experience, as well as 60'Running Hall' who will take the role of quarantine and house management, and DIMF through online/offline. 'Public Relations' 10 people who will be widely known, 30'Subsidiary Events/Linked Events' that support the scene of various events beyond the concert hall, and'Interpretation (in Chinese) that will help smooth communication among overseas performance teams and officials. 'It plans to select 10 people into a total of 120 people in 5 fields.

'Dimp Keeper', which can be applied by anyone who loves musicals and wishes to build unforgettable memories through passionate volunteer activities, can be applied through the DIMF website from March 19th to April 19th, and can communicate in Korean. Opportunities are also provided for foreigners residing in Korea.

The final selected dimple keeper is issued a volunteer confirmation letter through the 1336 Volunteer Center, and special benefits are provided, including a small amount of activity, uniforms, and souvenirs.
