박창석 경북도의원(군위, 국민의 힘)이 군위군 대구편입안에 대한 경북도의회의 결정을 규탄하며 1인 시위에 나섰다.

박창석 도의원은 경북도의회가 지난 2일 본회의에서 ‘군위군 대구 편입안’에 대해 찬반 의견을 내지 않기로 한데 대한 각성과 대책마련을 촉구하기 위해 경북도의회 정문 앞에서 1인 시위에 나섰다.

1인 시위에 앞서 박 의원은 군위군의 대구시 편입 의견을 묻는 ‘경상북도 관할구역 변경(안)에 대한 의견제시의 건’에 대해 무기명 비밀 투표를 진행한 경북도의회 고우현 도의장을 항의 방문하기도 했다.

박 의원은 강한 유감을 표하며 “이번 투표는 그 합의에 대한 약속이행 여부를 묻는 투표이지 새로운 의견을 구하는 투표가 아니기 때문에 기명투표가 원칙인 것이고, 무기명 비밀투표는 책임회피용으로 매우 부적절했다”고 주장했다.

이어 그는 “2020년 7월 30일 통합신공항 이전부지 선정 시 합의한 대승적 결단을 뒤집은 이번 투표 결과에 대해 도의회가 책임을 져야 할 것이다”라고 강조하며 ”일부 무책임한 투표를 한 신의를 저버린 도의원들로 인해 통합신공항 사업 추진에 차질이 생긴다면 이는 모두 도의회의 책임으로 도민들로부터 비난을 면치 못할 것이다”라며 성명서를 발표했다.

아울러 “도의회가 경상북도의 미래를 위해 50조원의 경제적 효과와 40만개의 일자리가 창출되는 통합신공항 사업의 원활한 추진을 위해 책임정치를 실현해 달라”고 촉구하며, “결자해지(結者解之)의 자세로 빠른 시일 내에 대승적 차원의 합의를 실현하는 기명투표가 반드시 이루어져야 한다”고 주장했다.
