【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=국민의힘 최재훈 달성군수 후보 캠프가 “무소속 전재경 달성군수 후보의 흑색선전이 도를 넘었다”며 전재경 달성군수 후보를 허위사실 공표 및 비방 등 공직선거법 위반 혐의로 선거관리위원회에 고발했다고 24일 밝혔다.
최 후보캠프에 따르면 전경재 후보측은 지난 23일 전 후보가 선거공보에 ‘조사만 하다 끝날 판이다’, ‘들리는 구설수가 많다’, ‘더 철저한 조사를 받아야 마땅하다’ 등 근거 없는 최 후보의 마약 관련 루머를 연상시키는 내용을 적시한 것에 대해 불쾌감을 드러내며 선관위에 전 후보를 고발했다고 밝혔다.
최 후보 측은 “후보가 직접 나서 관련기관으로부터 음성판정을 받았음에도 불구하고 마치 의혹이 해소되지 않았다는 것처럼 허위사실을 기재했다”고 비판하며 “사실이 아닌 마타도어이자 막가파식 비방에 불과하다”고 꼬집었다.

한편 달성군선관위 역시 전 후보의 선거공보 사전 검토과정에서 해당 내용이 문제가 될 수 있다며 여러 차례 수정할 것을 요구했으나 전 후보 측이 이를 수용하지 않은 것으로 전해진다.
