가스공사와 강원랜드는 세계 에너지 시장의 불안이 지속되는 상황에서 올겨울 가정용 도시가스 사용자를 대상으로 도시가스 수요절감 프로그램을 홍보해 에너지 절약 실천을 독려하고자 협약을 체결했다. 

수요절감 프로그램은 주택 난방용 도시가스를 사용하는 가구 중 신청자를 대상으로 전년 같은 기간 대비 일정 사용량을 절감할 경우 캐쉬백 혜택을 부여하는 제도다.

양사는 앞으로 동절기 에너지 절약 실천 운동에 적극 동참하고 전 국민 에너지 절약 문화 확산에 적극 노력하기로 했다. 

특히, 리조트 방문객에게 도시가스 수요절감 프로그램을 적극 홍보하고 수요절감 프로그램 참여 신청자에게는 하이원리조트 시설 이용료 최대 35% 할인 혜택을 제공할 예정이다. 

가스공사 관계자는 “강원랜드와 도시가스 수요절감 프로그램 홍보에 긴밀하게 협조하고 에너지 절약 실천 운동에 앞장섬으로써 글로벌 에너지 위기 극복의 마중물이 될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
