【브레이크뉴스 경북】진예솔 기자=경북교육청(교육감 임종식)은 2026년 늘봄학교 전담 인력인 늘봄지원실장 53명을 새로 선발해 배치한다고 23일 밝혔다.

현재 도내 초등학교 465교와 특수학교 8교에서 운영 중인 늘봄학교에는 늘봄지원실장이 110명, 한시적 정원 외 기간제 교사 53명, 행정실무사 1명씩이 배치돼 교사들의 업무 부담을 줄이고 있다.

이번에 선발되는 53명은 기존 한시적 기간제 교사를 대체하는 ‘임기제 교육연구사’로, 임기 2년 동안 교육과 돌봄, 강사 섭외, 예산 관리, 민원 대응 등 늘봄학교 운영 전반을 총괄한다.

선발은 서류심사와 역량평가를 거쳐 확정되며, 2026년 3월 1일 자로 공립 초등학교에 배치된다. 관련 세부 계획은 9월 말 발표된다.

올해 6월 교사 대상 만족도 조사에서 늘봄지원실장 제도는 평균 83.8점, 긍정적 영향 응답률은 89.4%로 나타났다. 학부모·학생 대상 조사에서도 89% 이상이 늘봄학교 운영에 만족한다고 답해 제도의 성과를 입증했다.

경북교육청은 지난 7월부터 인공지능 기반 ‘경북형 늘봄학교 챗봇’을 운영하는 등 현장 지원을 강화하고 있다.

임종식 교육감은 “전문성을 갖춘 인력을 공정하게 선발해 늘봄학교가 더 안정적으로 정착하도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

The Gyeongbuk Office of Education has been strengthening on-site support since July, including the launch of the AI-based "Gyeongbuk Neulbom School Chatbot."
