【브레이크뉴스 경북】진예솔 기자=경북교육청(교육감 임종식)은 도내 5개교가 ‘2024년 전국 늘봄학교 우수사례 공모전’에서 우수사례로 선정됐다고 7일 밝혔다.

교육부와 한국교육개발원은 전국 17개 시도의 학교와 지역사회 기관을 대상으로 공모전을 실시해 초등학교 부문 25건, 중등 방과후학교 부문 10건 등 총 35건의 우수사례를 선정했다.

경북에서는 금릉초등학교(김천)와 안동강남초등학교, 포항포은중학교, 수륜중학교(성주), 구미전자공업고등학교 등 5교가 선정돼 교육부장관상을 받게 됐다.

임종식 교육감은 “늘봄학교와 중등 방과후학교 운영 내실화를 통해 학생들의 미래 역량을 기르고, 지역간 교육격차 걱정 없이 질 높은 프로그램을 운영할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

The Gyeongbuk Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Jong-sik) announced on the 7th that five schools in the province were selected as excellent cases in the ‘2024 National Neulbom School Best Practice Contest’.

The Ministry of Education and the Korea Educational Development Institute held a contest targeting schools and community organizations in 17 cities and provinces across the country and selected a total of 35 excellent cases, including 25 cases in the elementary school category and 10 cases in the middle school after-school category.

In Gyeongbuk, five schools, including Geumneung Elementary School (Gimcheon), Andong Gangnam Elementary School, Pohang Poeun Middle School, Suryun Middle School (Seongju), and Gumi Electronic Technical High School, were selected and received the Minister of Education Award.

Superintendent Lim Jong-sik said, “We will actively support the improvement of the operation of Neulbom School and middle school after-school programs so that students can develop their future capabilities and operate high-quality programs without worrying about educational gaps between regions.”
