【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=경북교육청(교육감 임종식)가 교육부의 2023년 늘봄학교 시범교육청 공모에 선정되었다고 26일 밝혔다.

늘봄학교란 정규수업 전후로 양질의 교육 및 돌봄을 제공하는 서비스로 교육부는 경북교육청과 인천·대전·경기·전남교육청 등을 2023년 늘봄학교 시범교육청으로 선정했다.

이를 통해 오는 3월부터 늘봄학교를 운영하게 된 경북교육청은 교육과정과 연계한 학생주도 1학기 1프로젝트를 지원하고, 토요 방과후 프로그램 도입, 농산어촌 순회 지역 순회 방과후 학교 전문강사제 운영 등 프로그램 및 시간을 다양화해 정규수업과 방과후 연계, 개별 학생 맞춤형 지원을 강화한다. 

40개교에서는 초1 에듀 케어 집중프로그램을 운영하며 아침돌봄 시 간편식도 제공해 이른 아침 맞벌이가정의 돌봄 부담 경감을 지원할 예정이다.

 임종식 교육감은 “학생과 학부모의 수요를 반영한 개별화된 교육 돌봄 서비스 제공을 통해 따뜻한 교육복지를 실현하도록 적극 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
