포항해경은 (사)한국뇌병변장애인인권협회 경북협회 포항시지회, (사)경북시각장애인연합회 포항지회, 한국소아난치병사랑나눔사회적협동조합 등 3곳에 총 300만원의 성금을 전달했다. 이번 성금은 경제적 어려움으로 소외되기 쉬운 이웃들에게 쓰일 예정이다.

경북시각장애인연합회 포항지회장은 “매년 잊지 않고 성금을 전달해 주셔서 감사드린다”며 “소중한 마음을 잘 전달해 어려운 이웃들에게 힘이 되도록 하겠다”고 말했다.

아울러 포항해경 직원들은 죽도시장을 방문해 명절 물품과 제철 과일을 직접 구매하며 전통시장 활성화에 힘을 보탰다.
