법령에 따르면 ▲암컷 대게 또는 체장 9cm 이하 대게 포획·유통·판매 시 2년 이하 징역 또는 2천만 원 이하 벌금, ▲원산지를 허위 표시할 경우 7년 이하 징역 또는 1억 원 이하 벌금이 부과된다.

이근안 포항해양경찰서장은 “정상적으로 조업하는 어업인이 피해를 보지 않도록 공정하고 강력하게 단속하겠다”며 “불법 조업 선박이나 유통 행위 발견 시 시민들의 적극적인 신고를 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
