한수원은 지난 23일 경주시청 내 사랑의 온도탑 앞에서 ‘희망2026 나눔캠페인’에 동참하며 성금 1억 원을 경주시에 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

이날 전달된 성금은 경북사회복지공동모금회를 통해 경주시 관내 복지 취약계층 등 도움이 필요한 이웃들을 위해 사용될 예정이다.

한수원은 2014년부터 10년간 희망나눔 캠페인에 지속적으로 참여해 왔으며, 2021년부터는 매년 1억 원씩 기부하며 이웃 사랑을 실천하고 있다. 이와 함께 전국 각지에 위치한 한수원 사업소에서도 희망나눔 캠페인 참여를 비롯해 복지시설 봉사활동, 사랑의 밑반찬 배달, 물품 기부 등 다양한 사회공헌 활동을 활발히 펼치고 있다.

전대욱 한수원 사장 직무대행은 “추운 날씨 속에서 어려움을 겪고 있는 이웃들에게 한수원의 작은 정성이 도움이 되기를 바란다”며 “앞으로도 공기업으로서의 사회적 책임을 다하고, 지역사회와 함께하는 나눔 활동을 지속적으로 이어가겠다”고 말했다.

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) spread warmth to the local community during the holiday season.

KHNP announced on the 23rd that it donated 100 million KRW to Gyeongju City through the "Hope 2026 Sharing Campaign" held in front of the Love Thermometer at Gyeongju City Hall.

The donation will be used to support vulnerable groups and those in need within Gyeongju City through the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea.
