【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=포항시는 주민 복지 향상과 맞춤형 사회서비스 제공을 위해 내달 2일부터 13일까지 ‘지역사회서비스투자사업’ 대상자를 모집한다고 밝혔다.
지역사회서비스투자사업은 지방자치단체가 지역 특성과 주민 수요를 반영해 발굴한 서비스를 시민이 직접 선택해 이용하는 이용자 중심의 복지제도다. 선정된 대상자에게는 이용권(바우처)이 발급되며, 이를 통해 다양한 사회서비스를 제공받을 수 있다.
이번 모집 규모는 총 8개 사업 650명으로, 저소득층 여부와 연령 등 사업별 선정 기준에 따라 대상자를 선발할 예정이다.
모집 대상 사업은 ▲아동·청소년 정서발달 지원 서비스(100명) ▲아동·청소년 비전 형성 지원 서비스(110명) ▲활동 중심의 인터넷중독 아동 예방 서비스(100명) ▲아동 창의력 증진 과학문화 아카데미(70명) ▲지역아동과 함께하는 희망이 꽃피는 나무(100명) ▲해피실버 프로그램(110명) ▲정신건강 토탈케어 서비스(30명) ▲장애인 보조기기 렌탈 서비스(30명) 등이다.
신청을 희망하는 시민은 관련 서류를 갖춰 주소지 읍·면·동 행정복지센터를 방문해 접수하면 된다. 사업별 세부 내용은 포항시청 홈페이지 또는 가까운 행정복지센터를 통해 확인할 수 있다.
김신 포항시 복지국장은 “이번 지역사회서비스투자사업은 아동·청소년부터 어르신, 장애인까지 생애주기별 맞춤형 복지서비스 제공을 목표로 한다”며 “앞으로도 시민들이 체감할 수 있는 복지정책을 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

Kim Shin, Director of the Pohang City Welfare Bureau, stated, "This community service investment project aims to provide customized welfare services across the life cycle, from children and adolescents to the elderly and people with disabilities.
