시는 공공 발주 공사현장부터 안전관리 체계를 선제적으로 강화해 건설업계 전반의 안전 수준을 상향하겠다는 방침이다. 공공 부문에서 축적된 우수 사례를 민간 영역까지 확산시켜 자발적 안전문화 정착을 유도한다는 구상이다.

또 3월부터는 공공 발주 고위험 현장 48개소를 대상으로 매월 밀착형 합동 안전점검을 실시한다. 점검 결과 미흡 사항은 즉시 개선을 요구하고, 반복 위반 사업장에 대해서는 관계기관과 연계한 행정·사법적 후속 조치도 병행할 계획이다.

이와 함께 건설현장 인식 개선 활동도 강화한다. 정기 합동 캠페인을 전개하는 한편, 각 현장별로 시공사가 주도하는 ‘추락예방 특별주간’을 운영해 개인보호구 착용 등 기본 안전수칙 준수를 집중 홍보한다. 일일 안전교육(TBM)도 내실화하고, 우수 안전관리 사례를 발굴·전파해 자율적 안전문화를 확산시킬 방침이다.
